Tips and tricks for downloading e-books and audiobooks from WV READS
1. take a digital books tour to guide you through getting started, installling free software, browsing, checkout and downloading library materials.
2. Have your Pioneer Memorial Public Library Card handy.
3. Choose Upshur County Public Library as your participating library upon sign in. (This is based on our afiliation with UCPL)

Instructions for Downloading Overdrive E-books using a Kindle Fire:
(An active Wi-Fi connection is required.)
Open the web browser on the KINDLE-FIRE
Visit: www.pioneermemoriallibrary.info
Click on the link to overdrive.
Select Upshur County Public Library as your participating library.
Enter your 14 digit library card number.
Browse and check out a Kindle Book from WV Reads.
Click the 'Get for Kindle' button. This opens the Amazon.com website.
Click the 'Get library book' button and sync your device to download the book.
